You will be responsible for all aspects of engineering of the control and instrumentation system (C&I) in Rock Tech’s Lithium Hydroxide Converters and Refineries. You will design the C&I, ensure its safe and efficient operation and make sure that production quantity and quality are within plan. Your role will be to support the development and execution of our Lithium Hydroxide (LiOH) portfolio strategy and represent the product. For that you will manage the price and volume allocation, the sales & operations forecast process, shipment plants, costumer success inquiries and collaborate with the Sales & Operations, Quality, Process Technology and Manufacturing team for a proper execution of our strategy and product targets. Over time you will develop an understanding where LiOH is used, update our product development and construct a future customers segmentation strategy. The Senior Metallurgist will work as part of the project delivery team in preparation of and in support of the construction of our Lithium Hydroxide Converter and Refinery in Guben, DE. The position is responsible for the planning and execution of metallurgic best practice activities for the plant construction project and will continue that responsibility through commissioning and into the operating phase. The purpose of the role is to develop and lead the Open Pit and Underground team through the operational start-up and ramp-up of the Georgia Lake Lithium Operations. The role is initially focused on operational readiness during the construction and commissioning stages but is expected to naturally transition to the long-term Operation Mine Team. You will be responsible for building the Mining Department structure, team and work processes to ensure that the pit and eventual underground operations is well operated and that the mining assets are optimized to deliver on the business objectives. You will work collaboratively with maintenance manager and the mining operations management team to implement best practices in asset management. As part of the senior site leadership team, you will provide direction for the entire mining operations. The Senior Process Engineering - Crystallizer will work as part of the project delivery team in preparation of and in support of the construction of our Lithium Hydroxide Converter and Refinery in Guben/Brandenburg, DE. The position is responsible for representing the owners and operators interest through the design, construction and ramp-up of the plants multi stage forced circulation crystallization plant for sodium sulphate and lithium hydroxide products. The Commissioning Manager is responsible for preparing (starting during the engineering phase) and executing the commissioning for the Guben Lithium Converter, the first Lithium converter in Europe. The role is responsible for the mechanical completion of individual sections of the plant, including the organization of final installation inspections, functional tests, commissioning of partial systems and the complete plant. The Sustainability Manager (SM) is responsible for implementing company-wide ESG policies and programs related to corporate responsibility, environment & sustainability. The SM is responsible for developing, leading and supervising projects driving down our environmental footprint and moving towards circularity – from our mining project in Canada to our refining processes at our converter in Germany. The SM will also be responsible for representing RCK’s sustainability strategy to internal and external stakeholders. The Circular Economy Manager (CEM) is responsible for further developing our circular economy strategy together with C-level. The CEM will help execute our strategic path to becoming a zero waste and closed-loop company via sustainable supply-chain-management. The CEM is also representing RCK at selected platforms and circular economy-related working groups/ forums/ conferences. The Lead Engineer will work as part of the project delivery team in preparation of and in support of the construction of our Lithium Hydroxide Converter and Refinery in Guben, DE. The position is responsible for monitoring and managing the project budget. Scope and schedule control of the EPCM contractor for all engineering disciplines. The Process Engineer will provide project and process engineering duties in multiple aspects in support the development of our growing lithium hydroxide business.
